I have a B. A. degree in Early Childhood and 1-6 education from the University of South Florida.  I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from NOVA University.  I am also ESOL endorsed.

I have been teaching 35 years at Memorial Elementary School.  I have taught in various positions.  I started as a kindergarten teacher and then was moved to Chapter One kindergarten which was a pull out program.  I did this for many years and then I taught second grade basic skills class and then regular second grade and then I ran a Reading computer lab which was funded by the Jostens Reading Company.  I then was placed in a fourth grade position for 12 years and then I was moved to a third grade position where I am currently teaching.

I have taught many years in the After School Program as well.  I am currently teaching sewing in the After School Program, which is one of my favorite hobbies.

I have also taught in the Summer School program for thirteen years.  I have taught Third Grade Reading Institute and Migrant Reading.

I have also taught at the South Florida Community College as an adjunct professor.  I teach the Remedial Courses the students need to enter into their course work.

When I am not teaching, I like to quilt, read and raise shih tzu dogs.
